The festive season is almost upon us. Which means engagement season is on its way too.

That magical time of year between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day when our inboxes are filled with sweet proposal stories, our Instagram feeds are filled with gorgeous rings, and the Save the Dates start to fall through the postbox.

While it’s an exciting time for those being proposed to, for the ones popping the question, it can be wrought with nerves, on which ring to buy, how to ask, whether or not they’ll say yes (of course they will!) and what to do if the ring doesn’t suit.
